Does the town offer street cleaning services?

The street cleaner cleans one to two times a month starting at 5:30 a.m. Please keep all yard waste (like grass clippings, leaves and limbs) out of the street to avoid clogging the drainage grates or the street sweeper.

How do I discard of yard brush or limbs?

If you are in need of yard brush removal, please review the Chipper Service Policy. There is no charge for this service.

How do I obtain a yard sale permit?

You may download the form here and email it to james@fayettevillewv.gov. You are limited to have two yard sales per season. There is NO fee.

How do I obtain a burn permit?

You may download the form here and email it to james@fayettevillewv.gov. There is no fee for this service. However, you do need to get a signature from the Fire Department on the permit.

How do I pay my Business and Occupation Tax?

What is Town Hall’s hours of operation?

Town Hall is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with the exception of legal holidays. All municipal buildings are closed on the weekends. If in doubt, call us at 304.574.0101 to confirm.

When does the Town Council Meet?

The Town Council meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at Fayetteville Town Hall, located at 125 N. Court St, at 6:00PM. These meetings are always open to the public. Agendas are posted in advance on the community board at Town Hall, as well as on the town’s website and Facebook page. In addition to in-person, you may also conveniently join via ZOOM.
