Ways to get involved!

The Town of Fayetteville would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming 150th Anniversary for our Town. This is for past and present families of Fayetteville, all are welcome.  What is needed from you:

*old photographs of Fayetteville businesses, churches, civic groups, families and homes

*memories of who owned what businesses/buildings and where they were in Fayetteville

*memories of property sites of what used to be and what it is now

The Town will be compiling information for a printed booklet to have available to the public. We will gladly scan your photographs while you wait or they will be returned by mail. The Town reserves the right to edit submitted stories. Please submit stories or photographs before June 1, 2022 to the Mayor’s Office 125 N. Court Street Fayetteville, WV.

Huse Memorial Cemetery is requesting clean-up by March 15, 2022 of  any decoration you have placed on a grave you wish to save. New decorations may be placed after April 1, 2022.
