Town Council is made up of five councilors, one recorder and the Mayor. The Town Council operates under the Codified Ordinances for the Town and the WV State Code and may adopt rules, resolutions and ordinances under the direction of the Mayor. The recorder shall keep a bound book of meeting records. Elections are held every four years for all positions on Town Council. The next election, without regard to any party affiliation, will be held the second Tuesday in June 2023.
